Zeitgeist - History

You know Tangerine Dream? One of the really grand bands from germany - pure electronical music. But in their beginnings they´ve been a Krautrock-band. Here is a funnyfunnyfunny movie from 1969 and I dont know what is most thrilling,

a) the musical chaos on the stage
b) the audience dancing
c) realizing that this has been broadcasted from the official public german televison - what might have been the headline?

1) Breakout in the zoo?
2) Drugs addicts in Germany?

Zum Geburtstag des Blogwarts (Harry Potter lässt grüßen)

Hi Blogmaster, happy birthday!
Nice Blog (well, I don't know any other to be honest). Why don't you make a living as a musician?
But come on, in 1969 you were not even six years old? What would have happened if you watched Tangerine Dream at the time? I guess it was broadcast at 0:25 a.m., so you sneaked out of your room in the middle of the night to hit the TV button and watch the band in black and white and with growing amazement - until your parents came out of their sleeping room shouting what in the world was happening here and how you came to watch mad drug addicts fidgeting to loud music.
That is, if you had a TV set at all in 1969. Oh, may the Lord praise the times when there was only one reality, well three realities, named ARD, ZDF, and WDR. How in the world can we handle all this today? (I heard that multipersonality disorder is on the rise recently).

Am I getting carried away here? Is this the purpose of a blog?
Well, one last thing then: Reading your blog I realised that you really made a difference to my life: I might never really have listened to Joni's music (Listen, they sing of love so sweet ...).

Well, all the best to you and greetings to your international audience. Keep the good work going. A big Umarmung from the Hauptstadt.

(PS. I think Nico is right, do speak German!)

heeya, dear andy, what a wonderful comment. thank you very much! If I am going to make a living as musician YOU should make it as writer/poet. But as far as I know you´re already on this way, right?

I need to write in english because it´s more stylish to write about music in english that in german, isn´t it? and there will come a time when people from all over the world would like to read my blog!
